Jase
The current order of account processing is: Create Account-->Process Payment This makes the system slow and causes problems, WHMCS waits until WHM has completed creating the account before it directs the user to pay. Often the system just times out and the user is never directed to pay. Instead the order of account processing should be: Process Payment-->Create Account So the account is not created until the user is out of the checkout process. I am now considering setting WHMCS to not create accounts until I have manually approved them just so they won't have problems with payment processing. But this means very limited automation.
ScarabWeb
That's not correct, is it? If you have set WHMCS to only create the account after payment has been received, then it will do exactly that and certainly won't create the account beforehand.
Jase
I currently have WHMCS setup to create accounts instantly (even if payment is not made). That way it will keep sending reminder invoices to the user, and if the user begins using the account they will make payment to prevent the account being suspended. When WHMCS is setup this way, it creates the account before directing the user to the payment processor.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted April 26, 2008 WHMCS CEO Share Posted April 26, 2008 Why can't you just set the setup option to the after first payment option? You've currently set it up to do it before payment so that's obviously what it will be doing. Matt
