victor12
How does the newly Added support for automated expiry date syncing for Enom module domains work? I don't see any difference. I've changed the expiry dates to a few domains to test it and it stays the same... I've deleted the expiry date from the domains too and it turns to 00/00/00 so how is this supposed to work?

Richie
This will be a really good feature to have. Modernbill has been doing this for over 3+ years, and there system sends you an email once a week to tell you if any domains in your billing system are not found in your enom account too & vice versa, just as a helpful way of keeping on top of any domains that may have gone missing or are still waiting transfer, transferred away but not removed from the billing etc...
othellotech
http://wiki.whmcs.com/Enom As of V3.6.1, you can now have WHMCS sync the expiry dates of domains you have registered with Enom Any plans to extend it not only to "sync" (report) but also list domains which are in the enom system but not yet in WHMCS ? We do get the odd "random" push by a client who forgets to actually order anything domain related, so knowing which domains are missing would pre-empt the innevitable support issues.
Richie
Having just upgraded to 3.6.1, we have just run the enom date sync and the email output of the cron job actually does tell you which domain names ARE in your billing that are NOT found in your ENOM account, but its in the form of a long list with every single domain name, and the ones it cant find in your enom account, its just says "error" on that line, so you will need to scan over the cron report carefully. Not sure if it will tell you of any domains in your ENOM account that are not in your billing though, because the problem with this is that if a customer does change their TAG to ENOM without telling you, the name still wont be in your account until you order a transfer for it, so really, there should never be a situation where there are names actually in your enom account that you dont know about. Either way, it works a treat and does exactly what its meant to do, so KUDOS Matt!
cyberneticos
I think that file should be open source, so we can all make it better, and give Matt a hand. What do you guys think ?
