freedombi
I've gotten DirectI set up and added funds to the customer. The parent id and customer id are correct, and the email address and password are the same as what I use to log into the reseller interface. Demo mode is off. I am trying to test registration by transferring another domain that I own, sourcevox.com. The current registrar is GoDaddy. I have unlocked it. However, if I try to create a domain registration order to transfer sourcevox.com, I just get "Status Unavailable". There is nothing under More Info. Any advice welcome. I have no idea why it's being reported as unavailable.
joe123
why don't you try the transfer option ? there is an option to transfer domains and not a new registration
freedombi
Yes, that is what I tried.
joe123
I think it's too late to transfer that domain , it expires in 3 days ,the transfer must be made far enough in advance from expiration date for your registrar to process the transfer.
freedombi
That would do it, I suppose. I have some other non-customer domains. I'll have to try one of those at some point. That said, it would be nice if I could actually see why the domain is reported as unavailable.
freedombi
I found what was wrong. All my servers are behind a strict firewall. I hadn't allowed whois, so it couldn't get any information about the domains. I have now successfully used whmsc to transfer a couple of domains.
