pbhosting
Ok, so ive got a tiny problem. My current server provider who shall remain nameless, is having some issues, so im moving. but when i copied the database over to the new server, uploaded the files, it says cannot connect to database. how can i keep the data in my database, but install it on the new server? am i missing something here J
chickendippers
Are the account usernames the same on both servers?
pbhosting
negative, its a completely different server/datacenter/part of the united states. im just wondering if i could just do the basic install, then just upload a copy of the database over it?

chickendippers
If the username on your old server was pball1 and the username on the new server is pball2 then the database username will be different and WHMCS won't be able to connect.
