Badly formatted mass mail emails

Hey there,

 

I'm running the latest version 3.6.0 and I've struck a bit of a problem. If I send a template email to a client, such as a 'Client Details Reminder' then it is emailed and formatted correctly.

 

If I choose either 'mass mail' to clients, or an individual email using 'Send Email' under the Clients Profile, then the text is full of html and is garbled.

 

I have tried with various email clients and it is always the same. My clients have complained about the state of the emails I've sent them, to the point that I can no longer use the Mass Mail option.

 

Here is an example:

 

<div>This is a test.  The email will be badly formatted.</div><div>This is a second line blah blah blah.</div><div>Regards,</div><div>Pete M</div>

 

The above was originally written as:

 

This is a test. The email will be badly formatted.

 

This is a second line blah blah blah.

This seems to happen a lot in 3.6.0, I've found tech support will provide a fix if you submit a ticket.

Thanks Chickendippers, I submitted a support ticket and all appears well after I installed the new file.
