what is the trick to use kayako and whmcs

What you're thinking of as integration is not what is actually done. The way Kayako/WHMCS works (albeit buggy) is that the customer logs into WHMCS and uses in-WHMCS links to access support tickets, knowledgebase, announcements, etc. There were problems when the customer changed his/her email towards the beginning of integration, I'm not sure if they're fixed in the newest Kayako release or not.

Customers on WHMCS can not login to Kayako without signing up independently there; the two are not linked.

You are wrong, Kayako has never worked perfectly, even on its own.

It isn't being solved because Kayako doesn't think its a high enough priority. The integration is not a loginshare, it's just a visible integration with WHMCS, unlike the modernbill loginshare.

I'm posting a series of fixes to the integration to make it more functional from within WHMCS.

As for the default integration:

Users who register in Kayako can be directly accessed only through Kayako (not through WHMCS).

Users who submit a ticket through the WHMCS integration can not directly access Kayako BUT if their WHMCS session is still valid and Kayako is linked it usually will allow them to browse Kayako still logged in.

After the client submits a ticket through WHMCS, the email address off the client will be listed in kayako. Simply edit the password for the email address/username to the same as whmcs to allow the client to do both. A crazy work around, but at least it is something.

Is it possible that support related to billing is handled in whmcs and other supports in Kayako:lol:

what ? is it a stupid idea?:!:

Its not stupid. Thats how i do it for development work. You can simply pipe different addresses to the two different desks and use two different ticket forms.
