abnersnell
When email piping is setup to pop from a remote email server, are secure POP connections supported? Same question for system generated emails, is secure SMTP connections supported? Thanks in advance! 0 aushosts
Why would you want that?
0 dsaunier
If I'm not mistaken, some providers do require a secure connection such as SSL - I know Gmail does and we use such accounts with a helpdesk that let us query accounts securely. Just my (secure) 0.02 ;-)
0 aushosts
That poses an interesting question I guess...
0 abnersnell
Aushosts, Exactly for the reason "dsaunier" mentions. I use Google Apps for Email at my domain. Google requires SSL connections for POP and IMAP. It is my understanding that I cannot have WHMCS connect to my Gmail hosted email account because it does not currently support SSL POP connections. Hopefully this will change in a future release. Thanks! Abner http://www.acedevelopment.com
