Retired Forum Member WHMCS Joe Posted March 15, 2008 Retired Forum Member Share Posted March 15, 2008 Hi The start date and issue number fields are not required for more cards and won't cause transactions to fail by not being entered. That's something else. What is the Issue Number and do I need it? The credit card issue number is a private number on the back of a credit card. It is not the same as the CVV/CV2 Number. If your customers use a Switch/Solo/Maestro card, they must supply the "valid from date" and "issue number". If you don't accept these card types, then you do not need the fields. How do I remove it from the payment page? Please visit this forum Post http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=8553 for a zip file containing the two credit card related template files without the start date and issue number fields. Just upload them to your template folder for the change to take effect. Joe
