PPH
Does enom work like directi or netearthone, where I have to create a customer and add funds for member to purchase domains from me? How does it work? Thanks! Nope, Enom has their own system. It requires a minimum deposit depending on your level. They also do not charge a fee if you mail them a check for your deposit. No extra steps, and all domains are listed under your account. If you want to give someone access to log in through registry rocket, you can just assign them a password and they log in through registry rocket then.
BAJI26
I got a free hostgator account, dunno what level that is but where would I find info about the different levels and the deposits required? I'm looking for something that is very easy to use, was thinking about godaddy.
HSc
We've been with Tucows/OpenSRS for aprx. seven years and we are so fed up with the company that we're looking at both eNom and Directi. Already have an eNom account but have not yet used it. Tucows just can't seem to get their act together. They are in much of the same market as eNom but can't even get their reseller's interface to be as easy and as integrated as eNom. They keep starting new projects and then let them fall to the side. For the prices they charge, you would expect better. Anyway, just offering this as an oppositie answer to what you asked
nullensc
Another vote for enom - have been with them for quite a few years now - never had a single issue with them + support is great - also very prompt, professional and courteous - even though they are related to the Modernbill cowboys:roll:
chickendippers
eNom has nothing to do with ModernBill!
nullensc
Really? http://www.modernbill.com/products/moderndns/
redrat
Really? http://www.modernbill.com/products/moderndns/ I don't understand. I cannot see any formal business relationship between ModernBill and eNom on the page you provided a link to. I always thought, like myself and countless others, they are just an ordinary reseller. I could be wrong though. Am I missing something here? It would be helpful if you were clearly specific in evidencing your otherwise cryptic claim. And thanks if you do because I am sure it would be useful generally to know for certain.
nullensc
"Our partnership with eNom these many years has significantly contributed to our bottom line," said Dan Kimball, ModernBill Director of Sales." from http://www.enom.com/inthenews.asp
chickendippers
They're just a reseller or ETP. Like hundreds of other people.
gbensonii
I have been using AIT DOMAINS for the past 5 years. The user interface is great and the pricing is really good too. Tech support has been really helpful during domain name transfers in the past and all in all they seem to be top notch. http://www.aitdomains.com/ Is there anyway to integrate them into the WHMCS? Are they like directi where you must add fund?
gbensonii
When I signed up they did not require a deposit, nor did they charge a set-up fee. There website says on the frontpage in the bottom right hand corner that you can become an "Affiliate Register" starting at just $1.00 - which now that I think about it -- I think thats what I paid when I started out back several years ago. The basics of what they do is this. They charge the customer your listed price, they subtract the cost to you, and put the difference (Your Profit) in an account that belongs to you. However, they hold the "Profit" for the first $150 in a chargeback account. This money is still yours, but you can't get to it unless you cancel your reseller account with them. After the first $150 they mail out checks on a monthly basis (I think its monthly anyway? - I would have check with my accountant on that to be sure) Hope this helps, George
BAJI26
Oh so I don't have to enter any payment info, say I price my domains at $8 but theirs is $6 they will send my the $2 and hold all the money up to $150 then they will mail it out? If so that sounds sweet!

max777
In my opinion and that what i do don't go only with one registrar i have an account with directi because prices are good and i have enom account also because enom has more extensions to sell than directi and both are good registrar
