Brett
Hello everyone! I have been working on this site for about 4 months now. http://www.webheadstudios.com - Main Website http://my.webheadstudios.com - Client Area http://my.webheadstudios.com/cart.php - Cart http://webheadstudios.com:2082/login?user=demo&pass=password - cPanel / This is only temporary. http://whois.webheadstudios.com - WHOIS Since most of the client area requires a login I have setup a demo account. Please do not place any orders. Email: demo@demo.com Pass: demo123 There are lots of interesting designs to be found throughout the site. The main website is powered by Drupal, which is one of the best CMS's in my oppinion. The affiliate system is JROX, the support system is by kayako, and the WHOIS is by cWhois. The site is far from being done, but I would like some input before I really start finalizing the designs and content. There are places like the hosting area that I am going to have a lot more there than just the features grid once clicking on the shared hosting. The whole website is still very much in development, but I think I have come to a point that I can start showing it and getting more ideas from this great community. Also, just in case anyone was wondering, Every design and graphic was made by me. There are NO templates being used anywhere, except for guy on the green/yellow background. Any comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Brett

lesmith
Hey Brett. Nice work, Nice work indeed its comming along nicely. Just a question. Why did you decide to go with Kayako?. Im building my site right now and I must admit I am really stuck between using Kayako Support and the one built in. Just from my pre-sales chat with Kayako has really not been to good compared to WHMCS.
Brett
The reason that I went with Kayako is because it just seems a little more robust. It has things like auto escalation features. I do think however that the WHMCS system is certainly up to par with it, but I just wanted a few extra features that kayako offered.
Brett
Also, if anyone has any questions on how I did something then please feel free to ask. I will be more than happy to outline how I did something.
mylove4life
now that you mention it How did you do the JROX. It looks like we are using all the same stuff. I myself are hosting only stores, not shared hosting like many do...

mylove4life
Jrox tell you how here. http://jam.jrox.com/docs/index.php?article=196 That's for the old checkout script, not for the new actionhook script... but good try anyway..
Brett
That's for the old checkout script, not for the new actionhook script... but good try anyway.. The appropriate way of doing this is to use the actionhooks.php file. You can use the same code at the JROX site and put it under function actionhook_ShoppingCartCheckout($vars) {
lesmith
Beat me to it. If you are not sure which vars to use just print the array. print_r($vars); That will help you view them. then use the $vars like. $vars['thename']; Hope this helps.

summerboyd
Hi All, Does it takes months to customize the look of whms or should I ask the whms customization group to help?
Brett
No, it is VERY simple to customize. I just took my time and came up with a design that I coded from scratch. You should be able to integrate WHMCS into your design in just a day or two if you are not looking to do a complete customization.
columbusgeek
Site looks nice Brett. There is a lot of customization going on there. Good to see.
