How do you display your flash tutorials?

Recommended Posts

We just link to them on a custom page I created within WHMCS.

@cd.

Hi, thought I'd see how you did it. Couldn't find it, so went to the obvious page http://billing.valcatosupport.com/tutorials.php.

There it was. Very nice layou to match the rest of the site.....Unfortunately every link was dead, 404 errors abound.

Was I at the wrong page, or is there something missing?

PS would love to pick your brains on the triple login. Very simple but effective

Heh, nice URL guessing, but I'm afraid you've guessed wrong - that's some default page that comes with WHMCS. The correct URL is infact http://billing.valcatosupport.com/flash.php although you won't be able to see it without being logged in (which you can get from here: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=7573).

Feel free to send a PM about our login page.

Hey looks good :) ... and we'd be happy to have your business ;)

I really like the lightbox you're using... however, for your 123Cart tutorials that are already setup, the control within the SWF doesn't seem to work for me. The play/pause buttons and ability to drag the player bar doesn't work. Any ideas?

Rob.

What about having an integration within WHMCS and Wordpress and taking advantage of the hundreds of wordpress addons like video, rss, search engine optimization, etc.

What do you guys think of my idea of adding my tutorials on Wordpress and having a loginshare withing WHMCS and Wordpress?

Think this would be good? I already have my blog setup and ready to go but no integration yet. No idea how to create a loginshare. Help would be greatly appreciated.

One needs to download our desktop application.

If you wish to take a peek you may DL the application here:

Thanks to Rob From Demowolf.com for his application.

What exactly is this application link? I get kinda nervous installing something that I dont know what it does. Why would you need an application when there are scripts that dont require installation of software? What does this do and what are the benefits?

Thanx.

Feel free not to download it.

The question is how do you display your flash tutorials :)

seems like I have the same question, what does your download do?. we were discussing how we display tutorials, which would behtml or php code.

What would your download have to do with that?

is it your display code (html) ?

is it a desktop application? if so what does it do?

maybe your not using the word "applicaiton" right which may be throwing us all off.

It is an application indeed. EXE file I think. Thats why I was asking. Got me kinda confused since the answer to the thread I thought would come in html, php or java.

Oh well. Guess I simply wont download. haha

we use demowolf tutorials as well and just rolled out whmcs

we decided to tie the flash videos in to the knowledgebase feature of whmcs because that is the only way it could be referenced for support tickets in an integrated manner outside of manually copying and pasting urls. even though all items under the knowledgebase are technically referred to as articles we relabeled the knowledgebase on the front end as "knowledgebase/tutorials" and set the top level to two sections as "knowledgebase" and "video tutorials". we then break it down further from there.

you can see it at:

if anyone has a better way to do this i am all ears.

thanks
