michelle
In the automated settings, it has "Enter the number of days before the due payment date you want to generate invoices" I put 30 (for 30 days grace) However, when a new customer signs up, it looks like this is ignored and the invoice is due right away. I also have it set up for late fees if the customer doesn't pay buy due date. SO... if the customer mails in the payment after he signs up, will the software bill him the late fee because the payment didn't arrive by the due date (same day he made the order)??? Just wondering. Also, wondering how to give the grace period to new customers. Michelle
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted August 27, 2006 WHMCS CEO Share Posted August 27, 2006 Hi, When a new customer signs up, their payment will always be due on the day they signup. This should be ok as they have just signed up and are expecting to have to pay. However, for future payments, the invoice will be emailed to them 30 days before it is actually due thus giving them enough time to arrange making payment. If you wanted to give customers who signup that same 30 days then you would need to edit their invoices due date from the admin area. Hope that makes sense.
