As per Paypal's site:

Auto Return shortens the checkout flow and immediately brings your buyers back to your website upon payment completion. To set up Auto Return, you need to turn it on and enter the return URL that will be used to redirect your buyers back to your site.

What is the page that customers would get redirected to? That is the URL page that Paypal Website Payments Standard requires for Auto Return: (Enter the URL that will be used to redirect your customers upon payment completion. This URL must meet the guidelines detailed below).

I also need to put this URL in my paypal configuration on their site. This typically would be the "thank you for shopping on my site. You will receive an email with you account details... or whatever when the order has been done.

What is the URL for this?

Such fast support!

My question

Matt's Response

So hopefully that clears up any questions anyone else might have about the change. For new comers to WHMCS who have previously setup subscriptions at PayPal, you would enter the following URL at PayPal IPN Notification Preferences:

http://www.yourdomain.com/whmcs_folder/modules/gateways/callback/paypal.php

Hi, so let me get this straight.

I have WHMCS v3.5.1 and currently still in the setup phase so have no customers.

In the PayPal payment gateway setup where it says:-

Usage Notes: You should enable IPN in your PayPal account and if required, set the URL to http://www.mydomain.co.uk/whmcs/modules/gateways/callback/paypal.php

I do not need to enter the callback URL in IPN.

Is this correct?

Regards,

Kirk
