Adam R
Has anyone come up with a good setup for a local development environment to be able to efficiently work on modules and themes efficiently?
twhiting9275
just setup another subdomain on your server, under your main domain. No real need to fuss with anything special that way
Adam R
Thank you. That's the current process, but I was hoping for something a little more robust. Ideally something locally where it's easier to use an IDE, build tools, etc, then deploy the artifacts to the server. I was thinking something along the lines of a docker compose file that could configure a local environment, with the necessary dependencies like IonCube, etc. I added a feature request for these types of improvements, such as including the SASS pipeline for the theme files: https://requests.whmcs.com/idea/developer-workflow-improvements I'm not opposed to building some tooling myself, but wanted to see what the community has done already, or was interested in.
