Pending Order Does Not Change

Hey All. I have my WHMCS set to automatically setup after payment is received. Everytime I get an order I receive my email stating the order was put in..then i receive an email stating the payment was made and account was automatically setup.

 

Now, once I login to my WHMCS admin panel I still see it under "Pending Orders" so I click the orderID and checkmark "Send Welcome Email" and click activate. Then, receive this message "This order is already active"

 

After that the order will finally disapear from the Pending Orders section.

 

Any idea why this happens? It should not display under Pending order as the payment is already received and account is already setup.

The orders are there for your review to make sure something was not set up that you wish to not have been set up. It doesn't prevent the orders from completing but are there for you to review. Just click accept.

Thanks for the info PPH. That makes sense and is actually a great idea. Just wanted to make sure I didn't have a setting incorrect somewhere or this wasn't some sort of bug. Thanks for clarification

Hi all. It seems for me, that renewals don't actually happen unless I notice and accept the pending order. I want the system to be automated - it's fine for it also leave the orders for me to browse, but not to wait for my approval before provisioning. Is this a setting somewhere? Thank you.

They are, just make sure you've got the automation settings setup appropriately.

Hi. I still don't have automation happening. I have Hosting and Domains that are still 'pending', and not registered or provisioned. If I notice the order and 'accept' it, then go into the domain, change the registrar from NONE to ENOM, then it'll do it. I'm version 3.6.2 BTW, and I don't understand how to have total order automation when payment is confirmed?

Have you set "Automatically create the account as soon as the first payment is received" on Configuration > General Settings > Module Settings tab?

Hi. I don't see 'module settings' in the configuration? I have 3.6.2 latest, and I go to CONFIGURATION -> GENERAL -> and that has Company info, WHMCS System URL, template, # of records per page, etc.

My apologies, that should have been Configuration > Products/Services > Edit Product > Module Settings

OK, this explains a lot, thank you. Some of them are set to automated and some aren't - which would explain why I thought automation was working (and it tested working for me) but yet I had pending/nosetup orders. They would have had a different package, and didn't get setup. Thank you, this'll help.

 

All my domain registrations are setup to automatically register, but some are and some aren't - but maybe the hosting orders that we're not setup are also not registering the domains. I'll see, this helps, thanx.
