Suspend customer service in WHMCS not actioned in Plesk

When I create a customer in WHMCS, and then attach a service, they are both created in Plesk. However, if I try to suspend the account from WHMCS, WHMCS thinks it succeeded but in Plesk it failed.

The reason it failed is the id's used by WHMCS to identify the customer and domain to not match those used in WHMCS.

After creating the service in WHMCS I received and email saying the Client ID was 5 and the Service ID is 6. When WHMCS tries to suspend the account, it passes 5 and 6 in the request. However, Plesk has different IDs assigned.

In Plesk the customer ID is 8 and the domain/subscription is 7.

How do I get the ID's back in sync, and why did they get out of sync in the first place?
