Sending credit card numbers directly to the Stripe API is generally unsafe

Recommended Posts

We've just installed 8.8 and changed to the Stripe module. We are getting the above error from stripe and the card isn't being processed. Can someone urgently help as our payment gateway is not operational.

I am also getting this error after upgrading to version 8.9 (from 7.x), i did switch from Authorze.net to Stripe and in the documentation it stated it will migrate the stored cc to a Stripe token. Any help with this would be appreciated.
