Quick question about updating product pricing (I don't want it to impact existing pricing for current customers of that product)

If I update a product's pricing, will this change the renewal pricing of existing customers of that product?

I need to increase the pricing of a service addon/configurable option but do not wish to impact existing customers, only new ones.
