Show Attachment Image Thumbnail and LightBox in Client Area

When I view a ticket that has image attachments from the admin area, I can see a thumbnail image. If I click on it, a lightbox pops up to view the image.

But if a customer uses the Client Area it does not show a thumbnail image and they can online download the image attachment.

Is it possible to change it so the image thumbnails and lightbox show for attachments within the front-end Client Area too?
