jillv
From what the support team told me, you had to enter it all. WHMCS doesn't synchronize its product settings from the WHM product itself, and so changes made on one must also be made on the other. I would guess that the WHMCS settings must be made so that when the client is deciding which service to purchase, they know what the features are. But the WHM product settings are what is actually enforced on the server: quotas, bandwidth etc.

simplybe
I also get the account creation failed message in whmcs but the odd thing is, the account is actually created ok on the server but whmcs says it wasn't and doesn't send the welcome mail.

We've been getting exactly the same for the last couple of weeks.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted August 21, 2008 WHMCS CEO Share Posted August 21, 2008 You might be being affected by a bug that was in cPanel's API with account creations. We have a fix for this going out in tonight's Edge and Current builds (14th August). The fix had been in Edge since last Friday. luckdragon
I have this same issue, but on 2 levels.. 1 is when I create an account, it says error (but actually does create the account) 2, when I terminate an account, it says error, but it actually does terminate the account.. it's almost like it's not receiving the "proper" response (which could be because of cpanel, I know that when they went from x2 to x3 all of their "standard" responses changed.. wonder if they've done something similar in whm
luckdragon
I'm still having this problem, and nothing has been mentioned as to why, or how to fix, etc...
