Generate on a different schedule for specific product/product group

We're about to start selling a specific product that will have a much higher price tag compared to other products we sell.

Due to this, we'd like to generate their annual invoice more in advance compared to our other products.

We have the following setting set to 8 days in 'Automation Settings':

'Enter the default number of days before the due payment date to generate invoices'

Is it possible to set a number of days for a specific product so that we could invoice customers for that service 30 days before the due date instead? I know there is an option to generate invoices on a different scheduled based on billing cycle, but we don't want to change this for all products using annual billing.

I know this isn't possible natively in WHMCS, but could it be done with a hook?

For example, if a product or product group is 'X' and number of days before due date = 'Y' then generate their invoice.
