mysmallbizu
I saw a Non-whmcs order page which gave the NEW clients the option to signup without registering a domain name... but allowing for their useraname to be automatically setup as a subdomain is this possible at all in WHMCS? An example would be: 1. Register a new domain The domain will be registered on your behalf and automatically associated with your hosting membership. Domains can be modified at any time via the Control Panel. 2. Use an existing domain The domain will be automatically associated with your hosting membership. Renewals will still be handled through your existing registrar unless a registrar transfer is performed. or this choice which is what I want to do in my WHMCS install..... 3. Do not register a domain Your username will act as your Web site name. example http://www.username.mysmallbizwebhosting.com
mysmallbizu
Is there a way to automate or prepopulate the subdomain? so the new user doesn't have to select a subdomain one is assigned to them? Any other guidelines or suggestions for seeting these sub domains up? should they point to you main hosting domain or another specific site?
mysmallbizu
If the user signs up with a free subdomain and the server has files inthe Skeleton folder. The account is created correctly.
railto
ok,maybe this is a dumb question, but i also want to offer subdomain hosting to users, how do we set it so that whmcs auto sets up the subdomain and also creates the dns records with whm, ie without me having to do anything once i set it up
