donnyboy
Is it possible to set a default payment gateway? I used to have paypal as the only one but I'm getting a merchant account and I'd like authorize.net to be the default one, where if they wanted to use paypal, they'd have to switch it.
JofleyUK
yes, you can change the field "order" in the tblpaymentgateways in your mysql file, give paypal 2 and authorize.net 1, the first one in the order is set as default.
Blueberry3.14
yes, you can change the field "order" in the tblpaymentgateways in your mysql file, give paypal 2 and authorize.net 1, the first one in the order is set as default. Just in case someone else is searching and comes across this post, I tried the above solution and it didn't work for me. I have credit card as 1, PayPal as 2, and Mail in Payment as 4 (no idea what happened to 3). I still get Mail in Payment as the default (which is not what I want).
donnyboy
so what's the solution to this?
othellotech
Using the payment gateways setup page in WHMCS you can move them up/down which changes the display-order Unless you have hundreds of them it's not worth playing direct with the DB This changes the order on the invoice next to the "pay button" - we've put the ones with the highest rates at the bottom
