Domain transfer issue. Error: Failed to renew domain: yourdomain.com cannot be renewed

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Hoping someone can help steer me in the right direction here.

We've transferred a domain for one of our clients but cannot adjust NameServers due to below.

I try open Modify Contact Details but get the below

When doing a WHOIS for the domain I can see it's with our Registar, problem is the NameServers are still looking at previous provider which have now deleted on their end so we've got effectively no DNS, email and website down etc. And as above I cannot modify the NameServers to use our own.

Upon further digging I have checked the logs and noticed multiple System/Automated listed as below which I think is cause of this problem. Clicking the Manual renew button will generate error again in logs.

Any ideas where to go from here? Started this this job a few weeks back and seems like no-one on the team really knows the ins and outs of WHMCS and have been told "nothing we can do, it's still transferring" I feel like the problem is our end and if left then websites and emails will still not be working come Monday.
