I'm a bit puzzled, and am trying to figure some out.

 

I'm migrating my client base over to WHMCS, each of which have existing packages in place.

 

For instance, right now I'm trying to add a domain to a client. When trying to add it, it's searching for it's availability, and of course it isn't. What is the best way to handle this?

what system are you currently using, there are import scripts for the majority of other billing scrips

To manually add a domain:

 

• Go to the client's summary and click "add new order".
  
• Click "Change Order Options" and tick "Don't send order confirmation" and "Don't generate invoice".
  
• Choose the transfer option and add a fake EPP code (eg. 12345).
  
• Once you've added the order, click the link to continue.
  
• Select your registrar from the drop-down, untick "Send to registrar" and the send confirmation.
  
• Click Accept order.
