Set as Fraud

what do happen when I click on "Set as Fraud" ?

 

Do the client receive a notification ?

Do WHMCS automatically void/refund the fraud transaction or I need to refund/void it manually ?

1-Client does NOT receive a notification

2-The invoice will be changed to "Cancelled" and you have to refund manually

Is there any way to refund/void it automatically ?

 

I am receiving several orders from the same fraud man (he use the same name on order) and different isp connections and each time he enter different and valid credit cards using the linkpoint gateway.

 

As it seems he is using whmcs order page to test validity of his stolen cards (!).

 

Each time I need to login on linkpoint to void the transaction .

Any suggestion ? How to stop this fraudulent activity using whmcs ?

You can use a service like MaxMind or VariLogix to screen orders you get.

using maxmind the client will be forced to receive a phone call BEFORE entering the card ?

 

If yes , the problem is that phone verifications works only on USA and my orders arrives from italy

I tried the maxmind phone verification demo, and it does accept italy phones .
