After installing and activating the OP WHMCS plugin, the API is having issues logging into my account

I am using the same emailaddress / password I use to login to OP

I have tired giving the app full administrator access
To my knowledge everything is installed correctly

last few lines of the module log are as follows:

------- START REQUEST -------
{"username":"**********" ,"password":"************"}
-- END REQUEST --

------- START RESPONSE -------
{"code":196,"message":"Authentication\/Authorization Failed","total":0,"data":[]}
-- END RESPONSE --

2021-11-15 00:54:32 - openprovider nl - generateauthtokenrequest
######## END ########

I also have the same issue.

generateauthtokenrequest {"username":"","password":""}{"code":901,"message":"Empty username field!","total":0,"data":[]}

sometimes, maybe once a week the generateauthtokenrequest does use the account seetings {"username":"api-user","password":"**************"} and i receive {"code":0,"message":"","total":0,"data":"modelName":"authLoginResponseData","resellerId":170582,"token":"********************************"}}

I use the latest whmcs version, php8 and version 5.7.0 of the plugin.

Also with older versions i had the same issue
