WHMCS 8.2.1 Automation error [Auto termination of client without my Approval]

Recommended Posts

Can someone help me to know which setting is responsible to make WHMCS 8.2.1 to delete(Terminate) every time cron activity is done.

When ever i add new client, after corn activity the new client will be terminated, when ever we add new again the same thing will happen.

I have disabled all functions that will terminate user account(client)  but still cron activity will delete the new client.

Even inactive client become active will be deleted by cron activity during.

Can someone help me to resolve this issue.

regards

Samson

Hello,

WHMCS performs automatic terminations for recurring products based on the currently listed Next Due Date on said product, which only increments when an invoice linked to the product is paid. When the next due date is far enough past based on your automation settings preferences, termination occurs.

Our expectation if this is happening even with brand new products is that the product in question has been configured with an auto-terminate/fixed term setting: https://docs.whmcs.com/Products_and_Services#Pricing

Disabling auto terminate/fixed term, or increasing the amount of days for auto terminate/fixed term should resolve this.

If not we would suggest sending in a support ticket so we can review your configuration and help you get this sorted out.

If you are referring to the *client* themselves being deleted, please check your Data Retention settings under Automation Settings to ensure the value is not set too low, or to disable it: https://docs.whmcs.com/Automation_Settings#Automatically_Delete_Inactive_Clients_2
