USE HOOKS VARS IN A MODULE

Hi!

We use a module that allows the user to manage the DNS records of their domains. Since upgrading to WHCMS 8 we have not been able to use this module as it refers to '$template->getVariable('domain')->value;'

We have created variables in the Hook 'ClientAreaPageDomainDNSManagement' and we can use them in the tpl 'clientareadomaindns.tpl' but we cannot use these variables in our module.

Does anyone know how to pass variables from a hook to the module? We have tried creating the hooks.php file inside the module directory but it doesn't work.

Thanks in advance.
