Email Sending Failed - Invalid address: (Reply-To): admin (Subject: New Account Information)

Hi there,

 

I am having the similar issues where the same user receives all the other emails but the automated ones. I have a notification rule which on a certain event sends an email to one of our team members but it comes with a similar message:

Email Sending Failed - Invalid address: (Reply-To): (Subject: Notification Message)

 

Please help?

I had the same error after upgrading to 8.71. I found the problem and fixed it.

For some reason in the email templates the email address was replaced by the admin username.

Go to System Settings > Email Templates > Click on the email title to edit and replace the second field with a valid email address. Then save. Try manually sending that email and it should work now.
