email cron error since upgrade

Just upgraded from v7 to 8 and now we find that the email cron is not running and importing tickets

the error is:

/opt/cpanel/ea-php73/root/usr/bin/php -q /home/accounts/whmcs/crons/pop.php
Whoops\Exception\ErrorException: Class 'PhpImap\Mailbox' not found in /home/accounts/public_html/vendor/whmcs/whmcs-foundation/lib/WhmcsMailbox.php:0

anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this as our helpdesk is down because of it currently and being Monday morning this isnt good...
