[CustomerName] Format

Hi, for some reason the merge field [CustomerName] show the clients full name and company name: Bob Jones (n/a).

 

Is there a way to just show customer name without the company or is there something wrong with my file? If that's the way it works, how do I add a merge field [CustomerLastName] ? Thanks.
