srv
Hi Folks, IM having trouble installing WHMCS on my server, ive checked and double checked that i am using the correct SQL database name / username & password. I get the following error: Could not connect to the database - check the database connection details you entered and go back and correct them if necessary The first letters of my cPanel username are added before the details and ive tried without too with no joy. After searching the forums i used a more simpler password again with no luck. Tried using a different name for the database but still at step 2 on the installation! Basically played around with different combinations. Does anyone have any suggestions that might help? Warmest Regards.
Brett
Are you sure that you added the the user to the database and granted ALL permissions?
srv
Hi There, This turned out to be an actual server issue rather than a WHMCS one. Thanks
