WHMCS Custom Field "Place Of Supply"

Hello there,

In Indian GST regulation, needed some mandatory fields for in invoice.

1. GST TAX (I have already done this part).

2. Place of Supply (For which I created this topic).

Place of Supply: In invoice, there should be a custom field to show, the customers "State" name. Because, the tax will be decided as per State.

So, creating a Custom Field name with "Place of Supply" is not a big deal.

But, the main thing is that, the custom field should automatically generate the State name from clients profile details.

Suppose, I'm from "West Bengal" state, created a profile in our WHMCS website, and entered state as "West Bengal" during registration.

Now, the custom field "Place of Supply" should automatically generate the state "West Bengal". So that the custom field can be shown in that client's invoice.

Please have a look at the below attachments.

Kind regards,

Natan R.

There's no need to create a Custom Field. Use the standard State/Region fields of WHMCS.

You can "load" Indian States when "India" is selected by editing /assets/js/StatesDropdown.js file.

Hello,

But all Indian web hosting companies using this trick to show "Place of Supply" section with State Name.

Check attachment.
