robinhood791
Some clients tried upgrading there service/product at us but got an error message telling them that they need to pay their open invoices or that the product in question has been suspended for not paying for it. In both cases, the clients wanted to upgrade their products that lasted for another 10 days. Is there a way to allow clients to upgrade their products/services when an invoice has already been made?
WHMCS Technical Analyst III WHMCS Alex Posted December 18, 2019 WHMCS Technical Analyst III Share Posted December 18, 2019 Hello @robinhood791, Thanks for your post! WHMCS will block upgrade orders in that scenario otherwise unscrupulous users could potentially avoid paying their renewal invoice by upgrading/downgrading instead. If you wanted to allow this, you would need to manually change the product and cancel the existing invoice admin side (as well as adjust the Next Due Date of the service for when you want the next invoice to be raised), client side, there is not a way around this. I hope this helps.
