griffe
Hello, I was just wondering... How do I list my flash tutorials on WHMCS? Do I just upload them to the download section or is there another more "integrated" way to do this? Thank you, Griffe
uberhost
The default path is whmcs/modules/tutorials/ although you could place the files wherever you want. Take a look at tutorials.tpl for more info.
griffe
If I upload the files there, will they automatically show in the client side? If so where? Since WHMCS sells them as an add-on I figured that it would be some what automatic. Thank you.
Patty
Yeah, I''d like to know that too. I have some tutorials in Flash that I made for my Brazilian clients and I'd like to make them available on WHMCS. But there's no swf file option in Downloads. Where do I place them?
Brett
It sure does! You will have to edit some templates to show links, but go to http://yourdomain.tld/WHMCS/tutorials.php It will display all of the tutorials once you have uploaded them. Just ask if this does not make sense.
Patty
Tks! I"ll try that. Could you please tell me which templates to edit and what to change on them, if it's not a lot of trouble for you?
Brett
As uberhost said above it is the tutorials.tpl file. You will find this in the /templates/youtemplate/tutorials.tpl
Patty
Great! Tks a lot!
Baja
Looks like Brett beat me to this: You will have to add a link pointing to /whmcs/tutorials.php page somewhere in your site. Maybe header.tpl and homepage.tpl would be a good place. Then like uberhost said check out tutorials.tpl which is in /whmcs/templates/your-default-template/ This can be edited in any fashion you like (add links to your brazil tutorials if you want)
