Error when WHMCS is in sub domain

I have WHMCS working well with whmpress and wcap.

However if i move WHMCS to a sub domain i get the following error when under WHMCS Config. All credentials and API keys were verified and over verified. Any ideas?

WHMCS API Configuration

Either you have not entered all information or your WHMCS API can't be accessed using below credentials.

 

On the top of the page it says:

    [message] => Invalid Access Key
)

 

Right under Settings it also says:

 

 

ERROR: Invalid authentication2!

Did you ever get a fix for this?

I'm having all sorts of issues using a subdomain, and have seen the same issues that you report.
