Planet Domain Integration

Hi,

We are just busy running through a trial version of whmcs to replace our current alp plus system. First of all let me say it is an awesome system, far superior to anything else we have used. However we have come across a bug or two with planet domain that i need to know can be rectififed before purchase and switch systems  .

The problem with planetdomain is with the fields that are passed from whmcs to them. The errors that we have come across:

State field: If the customer leaves this field blank on signup then automatic domain registration fails as this is a required field for planetdomain.

Quick Fix: Either make the state field required or if null put dashes in.

Username: Currently the username is taken from the customers firstname and surname. However, it doesnt like spaces. not a very common problem but it was tested with a double barrel surname and threw and error because of the space.

Quick Fix: remove special characters from the username string

The final problem is the telephone number field. Planet domain wants this in the formt +xx.xxxxxxxxxx. However whmcs isnt set up to do this it just passes whatever the user enters in this field.

Quick fix: The quick fix in the short term is to ignore this field and just pass +00.0000000000 to planetdomain. The telephone number can then be updated manually by admin. A long term fix could be to get users to enter their full international phone number, or, the international dialing code could be added from a table to the number the customer enters. Obviously a bit more in depth.

Would it be possible to get a quick fix for these problems? :)
