Some eNom advice please

Hi,

I am not sure if this is possible or not.

Where a customer orders a domain with hosting we need to the resgistered with our hosting server nameservers, which is the current default. Through our hosting accounts customers can fully manage their own DNS

However, if a customers orders a domain only and also opts for DNS management we need to have the nameservers set to the eNom nameservers so that customers can use the eNom DNS service through WHMCS.

Can WHMCS be configured in this way to deal with using different nameservers depending on the service chosen?

Cheers

:-)

yes, make sure you have the server nameservers filled out on each server. Then on the Domain registrars-> Default Nameserver 1...4 you have filled out the enoms default nameservers, i pasted them below:

dns1.name-services.com

dns2.name-services.com

dns3.name-services.com

dns4.name-services.com

Also make sure you do not have ticked the option "Tick this box to use the default Enom nameservers for new domain registrations" in the registrar settings tab.

Thanks for your reply arteryplanet.

Ok, but would this not always register every domain registered through enom with the above nameservers regardless of whether the customer order hosting or not?

Sorry a little confused :-)
