cor
After reading a lot of recommendations at wht I decided to give it a try as a billing solution for dedicated hosting. I even bought one months of lease. After few days of various experiments I conclude that WHMCS is not suitable for anything else other them virtual hosting because there is no way to get rid of domain options. Even if I select 'don't show domain options' the tick doesn't save it state. If product is type of Other then while ordering there is empty domain option zone and after clicking Continue it gives an error that no domain were selected. There is no way to select a domain - I don't sell domains, I sell only dedicated servers. Tried to submit two tickets thought Help menu in admin area. Haven't received nor confirmations neither reply from support. P.S. What kind of code format is the templates? It looks like all indention and formation are just random.

Getting rid of the domain options is very easy - you just set the product type to Other and untick the show domain options box. For the shared, reseller and server built in product types they are of indeed manditory as you say but on server packages it's not regular domain options that are shown but instead hostname and nameserver selections along with the desired root password. P.S. What kind of code format is the templates? It looks like all indention and formation are just random. There is no identation in the templates. It's just regular HTML code.
