Some question on the 2nd template

Recommended Posts

i tried using index.php?systemtemplate=newtemplate

and i was wondering, does all the links i need to change it to ?systemtemplate=newtemplate?

i tried browsing around, everything seems fine. but i was wondering, how to go back to the original theme?

is it because it uses cookies to remember the template that it is using?

the theme on the system is determined by what you have set in Global Configuration, if however you have it set right and are still seeing the wrong one then try ctrl+F5 which forces your browser to get a fresh copy of the entire page from the server.

you got my question wrongly.

i have 2 themes. i used index.php?systemtemplate=newtemplate? to choose which theme to choose.

But i notice if i choose a NEW them (not the one set on my configuration), every pages used a new theme without some extra coding in the address bar. like example i go index.php?systemtemplate=newtemplate? after the index page, i go server status page. seems the newtemplate is being used.

Can i know how this works? is it by cookies? or by something that remember what the site used?

joe, what about after choosing template, the order page, once go in can i choose which categories to be seen only?

example i create 2 category of ordering page. and i choose to display the 2nd ordering page, can i hide the option where user choose to go back the 1st category?

is there a link i can go to jump to the 2nd category when clicked order?
