rbro
When clicking on "login as client", should the email address and/or the password of the client that's used to login be passed to the form? If not, what's the point? It just takes me to clientarea.php regardless of the client. Is that what it's supposed to do?
kcackler
No. That is the way it functions. You should see the text 'Welcome User's Name Here' somewhere on the page (if using the default templates) As long as your admin area and client area are operating on the same subdomain (the www. here matters) everything will be fine and clicking that link will actually log you in as the user.
rbro
OK, I thought something was funky. I was accessing the admin area without https while my client area was secure. Working now.......
rbro
How about logging into CPANEL from WHMCS? Should the "login to control panel" link log me in as the user automatically and in the case of a reseller account, log me into WHM automatically?
rbro
OK, so from what I've gathered from searching the forums. I need to be logged in to WHM as root in order for the cpanel link to auto-login, so this will work regardless of whether the client has changed their password or not. But is it possible to login to WHM from the client details page for a reseller client?
