How WHMCS interacts with ResellerClub Domain Registrar

Hi everyone,

 

I'm trying to test the domain orders in WHMCS using ResellerClub as my domain registrar. I was able to successfully create a demo account in ResellerClub's demo server - http://cp.onlyfordemo.net/.

 

I was also able to setup my demo user ID and API key in WHMCS domain registrar page (Setup -> Products/Services -> Domain Registrars).

 

When I tried purchasing a domain using my WHMCS demo account (approved the invoice), it was recorded in WHMCS and the order looks good but the order is not being recorded in ResellerClub's Demo Account.

 

Have I missed some setup needed for this to work?

Hi,

 

Enable Debug Logging in WHMCS -> Utilities -> Logs -> Module Log and repeat the domain register action. Go again to the Module Log and copy/paste the API Response for the register action.

Thanks for pointing to that. I guess I just need to whitelist my IP properly in onlyfordemo.net as I'm getting an error in the Module logs;

Yes, this is correct. If the domain IP is different than the hosting server primary IP then you should whitelist both IP's: http://www.resellerclub-mods.com/whmcs/knowledgebase/171/Where-I-have-to-whitelist-my-Hosting-Server-IP.html
