Help with variables at payment gateway

I am creating my own gateway payment but I am having difficulties to show the variables inside the code HTML.

 

I am programing of the following form:

 

<Input TYPE="hidden" NAME="name" VALUE="<? echo $firstname ?>">

 

But the system is not showing the variable $firstname, how should procede?

For which file do you went to display the name? Is it one of the .tpl files or something with in the modules/registrars folder?
