Changing The Due Date.

Recommended Posts

Hello every one i have been using WHMCS for around a year now, when i first setup my WHMCS products instead of setting the billing cycle inside of the products i created a product for each billing cycle.

So i had this

Bronze (monthly)

Silver (3 Monthly)

Gold (6 Monthly)

Platinum (1 year)

Now we have over 1200 clients and i have created a NEW Single Product with the different billing cycles under that product.

What i would like to do is move these clients to the new products without my clients loosing any days / months ect.

What my plan to do is Copy all the clients account details, user / pass / extra items including there current billing cycle and expiry date, then add a new product and remove there old product.

My main question is if i add the new product then change the DUE Date under the clients products and services, to there old expiry date will this continue on as normal? so when it gets to the due date it will take payment and use this date as the reocurring date?

I dont want to undertake this project and find out half way working thru that i have done it wrong.

Many thanks for any help any one can give, or any tips or tricks.
