dutchnet
I noticed that the announcements shown were not really appealing to look at I changed the template to add wordwrap to the text being displayed, moved the date to the top of each entry instead of at the end of an entry and I added a line in between two items. For what it's worth I believe it's better looking now  The changes I made are were done in announcements.tpl below is the entire contents: {foreach key=num item=announcement from=$announcements} {$announcement.date} {$announcement.title} {textformat style="email"} {$announcement.text}{/textformat} <hr></p> {foreachelse} <p align=center>{$LANG.announcementsnone}</p> {/foreach} <p align="center">{$LANG.announcementsrss}</p>

dutchnet
I replied yesterday but it seems to be lost in the Forum transistion: the sample can be viewed at h t t p : // w w w . mijndutchnet.nl/announcements.php sorry for all the spaces but I can not yet put h t t p and/or w w w as one word in the reply
robbo
Sam here dutchnet. Looks good. I will be customising mine so it only shows the announcements title on the first page, with a link to the subject. I believe this would look much cleaner to the end user (easy to find the announcement they are after). If anyone is interested once I've completed it, just post and i'll add it here.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted November 19, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted November 19, 2007 I will be customising mine so it only shows the announcements title on the first page, with a link to the subject. No need to bother, that has been added for the next version. Matt
