Email import stopped working suddenly!

Hey guys

I'm facing a problem with email imports from Gmail since 2 days ago. It was working fine for a long time without any problem. But no emails were being imported for 2 days now and I could see those emails in my Gmail accounts.

The import cron job was set up as:

/usr/local/bin/php -q /home/html/mydomain.com/www/whmcs/crons/pop.php

When I checked the Support Ticket Mail Import Log, there was no entries since 2 days ago. I was still able to send out emails through it but just no emails being imported at all.

I checked that Gmail is not being blocked on my server firewall:

# telnet gmail-pop.l.google.com 995

Trying 74.125.198.108...

Connected to gmail-pop.l.google.com.

Escape character is '^]'.

When I tried to run the cronjob manually, it would return with this:

POP Import Log

Date: 26/01/2017 18:34:05

---

Host: pop.gmail.com<br>Email: support@mydomain.com<br>

Again, nothing was being imported. Could anyone please kindly advise what might be the cause of this problem? Thanks!

Thanks for your advise but that's already been done long time ago. As I mentioned, it was working for a long time before this problem started. I suspect it's something on the server that's causing the problem but just not sure what it might be. The last thing I remember was that I reinstall the openssl package but it was a minor version change, but my other applications that use SSL are working fine.
