dutchnet
Hi, Someone knows a trick to never expire a domainname and/or disable the domainname expiration e-mail message from being send for certain tlds ? Dutch .nl domainnames never expire until the customer either moves the domainname to another provider or terminates the domainname through his provider. The customer never receives a bill from the Dutch Registration office (SIDN), the provider receives the bills and pays the SIDN for all domainnames registered through him. Therefore the domainname expiration notices are causing confusion with our customers. Idealy it would be great if one could enable/disable the expiration notices per tld. regards Erik Venema
minadreapta
i have the same issue with .ro domains which never expire as well. you can set the renewal price to 0. but anyway, the customer will see the registration period as 1 Year. i have already requested the ability to add N/A to the registration period, i haven't received a response yet.
dutchnet
I prefer to have a registration period for the TLD and since customers pay for the domainname registration on a yearly/bi-yearly basis setting the annual price to zero is not an option for us. I don't know if setting the expiration date to 00-00-0000 will prevent the expiration notices or will produce notices on a daily basis
minadreapta
ok, then not N/A but like some other systems out there: the ability to add "One Time payment" for domains.
