Blank Screen post upgrade

Recommended Posts

Dear Community,

We upgraded from 6.3 to 7.1 and since then, the client areas is blank pages. The Admin area and function is absolutely fine.

We have tried the below when seeking to resolve:

1. Ensured that permissions are correct post the installation and all seems correct.

2. Ensured that the templates_c folder and sessions folder is writeable.

3. Followed the instructions as outlined here for client issues - http://docs.whmcs.com/Blank_or_Partially_Rendered_Pages

4. Checked that we meet system requirements and health. No issues reported within the Admin.

5. Disabled and readable add-ons to see if this makes any improvements.

We are getting desperate and don't really want to roll back.

Any ideas from the community?

Thanks in advance.

Brad

Is it just the client area? Not the admin side?

If you can login to the admin side, try to enable error display. Go to admin -> setup -> other, tick 'display errors', then save and try to access the client area again. You should have no problems seeing the error there, if it's whmcs itself.

If that doesn't work, check your website's directory ( usually /home/user/public_html ) for an error_log file. that may contain information for you.

If that doesn't work, you may need to go through your addons one by one, removing them from the whmcs addons folder entirely, and re-adding them as needed.

Additionally, have your systems admin look in the global error_logs. they may contain information
