Nominet Issue / Nominet compatible host

Recommended Posts

We're having lots of issues getting the whmcs Nominet module to talk to Nominet. We have tried everything, with some help from whmcs and a lot of help from Nominet. The error is:

Error Connecting to ssl://epp.nominet.org.uk on port 700

Yes, IP addresses are setup in Nominet and yes we have tried all the logical things other people have tried but unfortunately without success. Our current host Webfusion (dedicated server) say that its not an issue with our server and won't do anything else. We went back to our hold host Nativespace to ask if they can support it and the answer despite their best efforts is NO.

So, we're giving up on this and want a new host that has ALREADY got customers setup with whmcs that are talking to Nominet. Can I ask is there anyone out there that has the whmcs Nominet module successfully talking to Nominet post their update in August and if so, which host kind of setup is it please. We're desperate to get this fixed as its causing us all sorts of issues. Did I mention we have tried everything ... we have, well at least we have based on everything that Webfusion 2nd level techies can do and Nominet support staff. Anybody at all got this working - we need a new host for our whmcs install urgently. Many thanks, NL>
